New Member Classes
We offer “new member” classes for those who have recently joined, or for those who are just interested in learning more about Salem. This class is taught on different levels including children, youth and adults. However, you are able to take these classes as a family if you wish!
The class consists of the following (4) sessions that are taught once per week during the Sunday School hour:
(1) What it means to be a Christian (the basics of the Christian faith); 
(2) What it means to be a Baptist (a basic lesson in Baptist history);
(3) What it means to be a member of Salem (our local church history); and
(4) What it means to be me (discovering one’s gifts for serving the Lord).
While the four sessions are required for full church membership, those still praying about where the Lord is leading them in regards to a church home are also welcome to take the classes.
